  • BIRD

Bird is an 8 part half hour tv drama/comedy road trip.
SEX, drugs and Rock N’ Roll doesn’t just belong to men…
…and Robin “Bird” Leshiye is proof of that. She’s spent over a decade in a kind of self-inflicted purgatory either drunk, or hung-over. Sure, she managed to pay rent from dwindling royalties, maintain a five-year poly-amorous relationship with her rock-struck bass guitarist boyfriend and super-smart BFF – but it’s been one, long slow fizzle from the hedonism of music fame into international obscurity.
Today her life is going to change. Smoky, sweaty, super sensual... the intensity of rock goddess crashing over the darkness of a perpetual 4am of the soul. Think lovers, groupies, husky vocals and a fuck-load of swag. It allows for a mix of drama with a consistent eye on the natural absurdities of life on a tour bus, life as a rock chick… and just… life.
